Robotics – Our robotics program promotes the use and appreciation of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), along with communication and collaboration skills.
Levels: Beginner to Intermediate
Working in pairs, students develop essential social skills that are highly valued in today’s work environments but increasingly difficult to practice due to the prevalence of screens in children’s daily lives. Students learn to code using code.org at the beginner level and the National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC) programs at the advanced level. They build their own robots using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits and strengthen their problem-solving abilities as they complete assigned challenges.
