Our art classes for kids cover various techniques, including drawing, painting, and mixed media. Children explore their artistic expression while learning fundamental skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Our classes focus on building technical and artistic understanding and expression while building emotional and personal development. We are confident that your artists will find a place to call home with us to develop their creativity. We treat every student with respect and compassion and help develop long-lasting skills to help them with everything they need.

Our instructors are professional artists with diverse backgrounds, offering personalized guidance to help each student discover their creative voice. We emphasize process over product, allowing kids to experiment freely.

  • Increased creativity, improved fine motor skills, enhanced problem-solving abilities, and a deeper appreciation for art. These classes prepare young artists for advanced techniques and help them develop a strong portfolio.

  • Saturday 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Saturday 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

Schedule

  • The annual TBC program for children, teens, and adults is offered in person.

  • The program runs in two semesters:
    Spring Semester, 15 classes: from February 7, 2026, to June 20, 2026.
    – Fall Semester, 15 classes: from October 4, 2025, to January 31, 2026.

  • Final Show: June 13 & 20, 2026.

The average class size has 15 students. We must have a minimum of 10 registered students in order to hold a class.

Payment and Withdrawal Policy

All students, both new and returning, must pay a non-refundable registration fee.

New students:

  • First student: $50

  • Second student: $40

  • Third student: $30

Returning students:

  • First student: $30

  • Second student: $20

  • Third student: $10

– Save up to 7% by paying the semester fee in full at the time of registration.
– Save up to 5% on the second class.
– Save up to 7% on the third and fourth classes.

All payments will be automatically billed on the 25th of the month prior to each scheduled academic month.

 

Fall semester billing cycle: October, November, December 2025, and January 2026.
Spring semester billing cycle: February, March, April, and May 2026.

$25 per semester fee will apply to all students (new and returning).

If a student wishes to withdraw, written notice must be sent at least 30 days prior to the next billing cycle. The notice must be sent via email to: thebelfrycentre.nyc@gmail.com
If written notice is not received on time, the full amount for the next billing cycle will be charged.
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
All withdrawals must be submitted in writing. If no written notice is provided, you will be responsible for the full tuition payment of the upcoming cycle.

Attendance Policies

  • Students are allowed a total of 2 absences per semester.
  • If more than 2 absences occur during the semester, the student may be asked to withdraw from the program.
  • Your child will not be allowed to participate in class if they arrive more than 10 minutes late to the class. They will be required to observe the class and take notes.

We understand that school exams, religious commitments, family events, or health issues may arise. If your child will miss a class, please email thebelfrycentre.nyc@gmail.com in advance with the reason for the absence.

To schedule it, parents or guardians must request it by email at: thebelfrycentre.nyc@gmail.com. The makeup class will take place within two weeks of the absence and will be of the same type and level as the original class.
