Our Mission
For nearly a decade, The Belfry Centre has been dedicated to uplifting underprivileged families in New York City through education and community programs.
Our mission is clear: empower children and families with diverse initiatives spanning arts, dance, theater, science, and holistic development, equipping them with essential life skills exclusively at our Brooklyn location.
Central to our work is supporting lower-income families and single mothers. We offer scholarships and tailored resources to eliminate financial barriers and expand access to transformative opportunities.
Programs Powered by Your Generosity
We guide children and youth to build skills and creative portfolios needed to get accepted into specialized arts high schools. Your gift provides supplies, instruments, and resources.
Monthly workshops in Brooklyn and Queens covering parenting, psychology, nutrition, and emotional wellness, creating safe, supportive, and inclusive community spaces.
Holistic care for older adults at Brooklyn and Queens featuring movement, arts, nutrition, cultural outings, and social connection, fostering dignity and belonging.
In partnership with community leaders and the Sisters the Preachers of Christ and Mary, we provide opt-in programs fostering resilience, inner peace, and social awareness.
